corner view 'autumn'

There's no mistaking that Autumn / Fall is well underway around here (when does it officially change to Winter - do you know?).  We have a huge beech tree in our street, and I'm convinced that every leaf from it falls into my garden!

The best Autumn days are those with bright skies, and sunshine, with crispy leaves under foot.  And going for a walk this time of year is always rewarded with a hot chocolate drink or café latte and snuggling up at home with a good book (be that the paper kind, digital or Mac Book - ha ha!).

This is how Autumn looks around here right now.

  4. It's time to put those good beech tree leaves to good use - compost them so you can have free fertilizer for your garden. :>) There's much to love about autumn/fall. Cheers~

  15. Oh my, you've got leaves over there! Here, most trees are already without. But then again, "here" is the Northern-most part of Groningen, which is not really famous for its massive forests... Lovely shots!
