1940 wedding day

Whilst looking through family photographs on our trip to the UK over the summer, I found this wonderful photograph of my maternal grandparents on their wedding day, 21st September 1940.  No fancy white wedding dress, but both equally glamorous in their wedding day hats, corsages and a lucky wedding day silver horseshoe.

    I love old photographs and this one is lovely! One day I would love to have a wall full of great old photos of couples like this one
