the great british seaside

We've enjoyed the beach and wonderful little town of Southwold on the UK Suffolk coast.
Strolls on the beach, sandcastles, fish 'n' chips, icecreams, paddling in the very chilly sea.

Here's a few of the very typical beach huts that can be found at many UK seasides.
All in a row and looking so pretty with their fresh coat of paint and personalised names.

How lucky we were to enjoy some gorgeous sunshine in the very unpredictable UK summer!

Happy Summertime!

  1. Oh my goodness, I was in Southwold last Saturday afternoon, we may have passed each other!!!!!

Isn't it lovely there - we were on our annual camping trip to Suffolk and it was the first time we'd been to Southwold, I loved it. The beachhuts there are gorgeous :)

Hope you're enjoying your trip!! Xx

    1. How funny! All the best people go to Southwold you know! We were there on Monday and it was wonderful. I haven't visited Southwold for about 15 years, so it was lovely to see all those beach huts again and such a great little town. The pier had all been renovated too - my kids loved to see what the fishermen had caught. Hope you get back there this summer.
