Corner View has been on my mind this week. How do I tell you about 'My Style'?
So I asked for comments.
Huzz says "Simple, classic, modern pushing towards bohemian."
BF says "Funky, elegant, individual, quirky and cool."
Wow, I'm more than happy with those! Thank you!
In autumn and winter, I'm somewhere under layers upon layers of tops, jeans, a little silk scarf tied around my neck, and then a big scarf and boots for outside. When its really cold, its hard to recognise me beneath the layers (affectionately referred to as my "Nog of the North" look - I'll spare you that photo!). For dates with my Huzz and evenings with friends, I like my heels and a BIG ring on one finger.
So for Corner View, these are a few little elements from my wardrobe that make up My Style - all worn these past few wintery days, and with my little bit of sparkle worn out Monday evening for dinner with friends (and probably tomorrow for my birthday dinner with Huzz).
All photography c/o Huzz!

ReplyDeleteI spent 4 months in Ottersum years ago working for a friend on her horse farm. Your countryside is beautiful!
I love that your corner is about shoes.
ReplyDeleteAs always, I have a crush on the boots!
"Simple, classic, modern pushing towards bohemian" sounds outstanding! You clearly have style.

ReplyDeleteLove the Converse and the big cocktail rings. Like the definition your husband gave you. I'm a shoe girl myself - not bags so much - and I never know how to wear scarves stylishly.

ReplyDeleteif i may say so...i like your style too, love the boots, looooove huge rings can't get enough of those, and chuck of course a must :)
ReplyDeletethanks for stopping by my corner too
I love those rings!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love layering too, like summer dresses worn with tights, boots, a sweater and a scarf in winter - slightly boho and casual.
I love all the shoes! I think having really skinny feet meant I never really had a choice of shoes as a child and as a result I am a bit of a shoe addict now - but skinny feet still plague me - Converse however are very very good!

Oh, LOVE the Chucks!! Perfect color choices! Dallas (MODman) and I got each other a pair for Valentines Day. My first pair! I chose grey, Dallas got the cool blue color. I've always gotten the girls a pair and I'm not sure why I got left out! No more!! I think black will be next.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
