Bringing you a new version of Rihanna's "Umbrella". Just saw this one on MTV New Music by "The Baseballs". A bit of 60's vibe on a grey Feb afternoon.
Did you enjoy it? I did.
ps. Anyone who may think that this is the original song, not so. Rihanna's was the original. The Baseballs are a German rockabilly band doing covers of new songs! Now that's original don't you think?
Love it. Reminds me a bit of early days House Martins. Or maybe a bit Beautiful South? The music of my youth. Which reminds me on the Netherlands, funnily enough. There you go, it all comes together in the end. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link. I'll definitely use it on Monday. xx MM
I had no idea Rhianna's version was a cover. I think I prefer this! They look like triplets. I always wonder on films like these and of The Beatles etc if any of the screaming teenagers featured ever saw these films when they were all grown up and what they thought about it. I can remember that hysteria.
ReplyDeleteHa, that was fun! So, it rained there as well, it might be a good idea to go to the HEMA and buy yourself and Ruby some wellies then?! I know, sounds awfully depressing, sorry for that. Catch up next week indeed, have a wonderful weekend - hope you do get to go some where nice -. XXX, C.
ReplyDeletedeer baby - this one's the cover version - its just done '60's style'. Apparently, the Baseballs are a German rockabilly group doing cover versions of new songs.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is so cool! I really enjoyed the music!
ReplyDeleteha ha, that is clever!
