away from it all

Surely this is what 'getting away from it all' really is, isn't it?

Can you imagine how peaceful it would be to stay at this converted croft in the north west Highlands of Scotland.

A few years ago, the owners of the contemporary craft and design website Papa Stour, renovated this croft, named Callakille.  It has wonderful views direct over to the islands of Skye, Raasay and Rona and  is just 50 yards from the beach.  The nearest village of Applecross is 8 miles away.  How wonderful.

When can I go?

  1. That looks absolutely blissful - though not so much in the winter I'm guessing.

  2. I does look peaceful. But I think I'd miss the trees.

  3. That looks so peaceful. Just what I could do with. A little retreat.

  4. This is almost exactly the place I imagine running away to whenever I have a deadline. Gorgeous.
