As Ruby turns 3 next weekend, my plan is to make a simple birthday cake for her, covered in all things pink - including the buttercream. So a practice run was essential, without so much pink!
Well... it turned out just perfectly in my practice run. Filled with buttercream and a light spread of blackcurrant jam, this cake tastes delicious. I highly recommend it for those not so experienced in the cake making department.
