corner view ' things that make me go ... Hmmmm'!

Welcome to this week's CV.  'Things that make me go Hmmm' suggested by Heather.

I was struggling to think of a view until I went out for a little window shopping this morning and spotted these shoes in a store.  My first reaction was 'How on earth could you walk in them?' and then 'Yes, these do make me go Hmmm... and not in a good way either'! Needless to say, they are not now in my wardrobe - I would break a leg or my neck in an instant!

  1. Silly shoes! I will bet they are not a bargain, either.

  2. I am with you! I'd break my neck - or, at my age, a hip. And I think a lot of the high heeled shoes these days look like hooker shoes... I'll stick to my ballet flats :-)

  4. If fashion were to follow my rules, out the window would go wedges and boys showing their underwear! So, why doesn't fashion follow my rules?! :)

  6. I'm with you, although the wedge would give me a better chance at keeping my body in tact. Every once in awhile a teen girl will wear such a high pair of shoes to school and we teachers cringe to see her maneuver the slick linoleum floors wondering if a wheelchair will have to be fetched at some point!

  7. There is always one!! I would wear them as long as I didn't have to ride my bike.

  8. This fashion thing is universally applied. Just today, I was at a venue for a meeting, and all the women working at that place (young, educated) were tin, with long legs and long floppy hair, and these shoes. All of them. Spooky.
