This week's CV theme is 'Up in the Sky'.
We had a little stroll downtown the other day, well a kind of detour to visit Voodoo Doughnut actually - I cannot resist the maple glazed ones! The sky was such an amazing blue and this building reached right up to it, almost like it had been cut out and stuck on. And don't you just love the sign on the building below 'Keep Portland Weird' - so many fun things about this city.

What a fun place you live in!

ReplyDeletethat's one tall building against a beautiful blue sky - picture perfect. As for the sign, that's too funny!
ReplyDeleteI think I once went dancing in that Keep Portland Wierd building. If it is the same building it is home to a drag bar. Some friends thought it would be funny to take me there. I had a good time though.

ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I wish I loved somewhere where it was cool and ok to be weird... it's very conservative round here!
ReplyDeleteStill can't believe you really live stateside. What a different corner view to the Netherlands this is! Great, but definitely different!
