Weekend Highs

Hmmm...  seems that there was a lot of eating going on this weekend!

Loving Nigella Lawson's Sesame Peanut Noodles - which I had far to much of at my friends leaving dinner on Friday, and then went and bought all the ingredients to make my own batch next week.  Yum!

Eating my friend's wonderful carrot cake (Humingbird Bakery cookbook) at a party Saturday afternoon. The best I've ever had.

Sitting for half-an-hour in the sunshine in my garden reading the new British Vogue - Huzz and Luca were out, and Ruby was very very happy with a bucket of water, sponge and chalkboard (the simpliest things are the best).

Seeing a great friend from the US once again after 3 years.  A flying visit but still wonderful.

Receiving this lovely teapot from above friend.
A pancake lunch Sunday afternoon in the countryside.

Finally getting back to the swimming pool and doing my 42 lengths (should have been 50 but I'd had enough) on Sunday morning - so out of my routine these past few weeks.  And, I really needed some exercise after all this eating!

Hope you had a super weekend, filled with all the things you like to do.
