weekend highs

The biggest high of the weekend was the temperature on Sunday - 25°C (77°F) on 3rd October!  Yay.  Stretching out that summer feeling one last time maybe.  We had all the doors and windows open, lunch in the garden and a bike ride.

And we visited our local icecream parlour (on its last open day until spring 2011).  Luca played football with a group of school friends, with his shirt off.  This is October in NL - it can't last surely?

Huzz and I enjoyed watching, again, Crazy Heart with Jeff Bridges.  Fab film.  Love the music.  Mr Bridges was the perfect actor for the role. If you haven't seen it - you should.



I picked up a couple of Sinterklass, birthday (Luca) or Christmas pressies in a great sale on Saturday.  Yes, I know its a bit early, but I couldn't resist.  With 3 big celebrations within 3 weeks (2 on the same day) I like to start hoarding early.

And a bit of domestic stuff (clearing out cupboards, cleaning the fridge, vacuuming the car and gardening too) it was all quite satisfying.
