christmas movie time

We began our Christmas movie watching this afternoon with this little classic.

This is such a lovely short movie (just 26 mins long) with no words apart from the song 'Walking in the Air'.   Gorgeous soft animation (looks like very soft crayon colouring).  A joy to watch with my 2 year old and 8 year old who both sat still and quiet (which is a rare occurrence!).

Do you have some favourite Christmas movies?

  2. I have not seen it, but know my little one will enjoy it. Thanks for the recommendation. At our house, it's the Home Alone series that are watched over and over.
    Happy weekend, Victoria!

  4. We're working through our meagre Christmas collection as we speak. They come out for about two weeks every year and that's it. But the kids love them!

  5. Eddie enjoyed watching this clip! We watch a number of them. And, before I came over here, I posted about The Grinch, coincidentally. Funny.

  6. I love The Snowman too - very dreamy.

My favourites are all round faves, but as it happens I have not watched them for a while. Looking forward to curling up on the sofa with a box of chocs, some mulled wine and either The Labyrinth or Annie!
